Long Road Privacy Policy

Effective October 23, 2026

Long Road is a Bible app made by Dawid Korecki. In short: we don't collect your data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking.

What stays on your iPhone

Your reading progress, streaks, favorites, notes, journal lines, feelings and settings are stored on your device (and in your device backups). Your notes and journal lines are never shared. What you type into Verse Maker never leaves your iPhone: it isn't saved or sent anywhere, and is used only on your iPhone to find a matching verse. Photos and voice recordings you add to a verse card or Story video stay on your device, and temporary video files are deleted when you leave the app.

iCloud (Family features, if you use them)

When you use the Family features (inviting family or friends, or showing a sticker book in your family circle), the app uses Apple's CloudKit to store a few details in your own private iCloud account: each family member's first name (as you typed it), whether they're a grown-up or a kid, their lantern color and how many days they've read, plus sticker counts and the sticker-book card. This is shared only with the people you invite, and you can stop sharing at any time from the invite screen or iOS Settings. People who accept your invite add the same few details about themselves. We (the developer) can't access your iCloud data, so it isn't collected by us. Apple's privacy policy covers iCloud.

Photos

Long Road asks for permission only to add images and videos you choose to save (wallpapers, verse cards, Story videos). It never reads your photo library.

Sharing to Instagram

When you tap "Share to Instagram Stories," the card or video you made is handed to the Instagram app on your iPhone. After that, Instagram/Meta's privacy policy applies. Nothing is shared unless you tap share.

Reminders and widgets

Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. Widgets and Siri read today's verse from storage on your device.

Reporting a mistake

"Report a mistake" prepares an email containing only the verse reference, the narration voice and the app version. You review it and send it yourself from your own mail app to dkorecki+longroad@mail.grokbot.com. We use that email only to fix the mistake and reply to you.

Children

Long Road includes a kids' section. We don't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact
